Daochen Zha

Daochen (Frank) Zha is a Machine Learning Engineer at Airbnb since May 2023, previously serving as a Research Intern at Meta and Facebook in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from September 2018 to August 2021, focusing on anomaly detection, reinforcement learning, and automatic machine learning, as well as leading RLCard, an open-source toolkit. Daochen also interned at Kuaishou Technology, researching reinforcement learning applications in the game Dou Dizhu, and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wuhan University, specializing in text classification and natural language processing. Daochen holds a PhD in Computer Science from Rice University (2023) and pursued doctoral studies at Texas A&M University as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University.
