Mari Balestrazzi

Mari Balestrazzi serves as the Global Director of Environments Design at Airbnb, leading the Environments Team and overseeing physical design initiatives aligned with the company's mission. Balestrazzi previously held the position of Vice President, Design Services at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, directing the Americas Design Services team for full-service hotel brands. At Value Retail, Balestrazzi was the Group Director of Architecture and Design, focusing on maintaining architectural integrity for luxury outlet destinations in Europe. Additional roles include Senior Vice President of Design at Morgans Hotel Group, Director of Design for St. Regis Hotels at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and Studio Director at Aero Studios. Balestrazzi holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
