Sungjun Kim

Sungjun Kim is an international strategy and communications expert currently serving as the Head of Communications in Korea at Airbnb. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company, where they supported major corporate strategies in sectors like M&A and growth development. Before that, Sungjun held various roles at the United Nations, including First Secretary and Team Lead for Sustainability Affairs, focusing on key global issues such as climate finance and inequality. Their diplomatic career includes significant positions at the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they developed strategies for UN engagement and led initiatives supporting Africa's development. Sungjun holds a Master of Science in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Seoul National University, graduating magna cum laude.
