James Bates

James Bates is an accomplished Signal Integrity Engineer currently with AirBorn Inc. since August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as an Electrical Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. from November 2020 to August 2021, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee from August 2018 to December 2019. James also gained experience as a SULI Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in June 2018 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at CURENT from February 2016 to April 2018. Additional roles include a Summer Production Intern at High Tide Technologies in July 2017 and a Design Intern at Nashville Electric Service from June 2016 to August 2016. James Bates holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution, earned in 2018.
