Pat Hayes is the Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Airborne Snow Observatories. Pat has over fifteen years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, and is an expert in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) for water systems.

Pat began their career as a civil engineer with Glendale Water & Power, where they worked for six years. In this role, they were responsible for the design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater facilities. Pat then left to start their own consulting firm, Patrick Hayes Consulting.

Patrick Hayes Consulting LLC is engaged in business management consulting services to water utilities. Services include situational analysis, technology review, business case development, AMR/AMI requirements and implementation strategies, process analysis, IT assessment, organizational readiness assessment, economic and financial analysis, project specifications, project implementation, and applying analytics to operations and engineering. Patrick Hayes Consulting LLC was acquired by Airborne Snow Observatories in 2019.

Pat has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Pat Hayes earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Pat then went on to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from the same school.

Pat Hayes works with Liz Carey - Lead of Flight Operations, Joseph W. Boardman - Co-Founder & CTO-Software, and Jeffrey S. Deems - Co-Founder & CTO-Hardware. Their manager is Thomas H. Painter, Founder & CEO.
