Airborne Systems
Bea Lichodziejewski is a Design Engineer at Airborne Systems since October 2022, specializing in the design and manufacturing of parachutes for large-scale space projects. Previously, Bea served as an intern at Airborne Systems from June 2019 to September 2020, conducting material testing for NASA's Orion parachutes and providing comprehensive analyses. Bea has been involved with the Engineering Student Council at UC Irvine since September 2018, initially as a mentee and later as a mentor in the Engineers Mentoring the Future program. Educationally, Bea earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from UC Irvine in 2022, and attended the COSMOS program at the University of California, Santa Cruz in the summer of 2017, completing a research project on eclipsing binary stars.
