Chief Engineer at AirBoss Defense Group

Christopher Sanford has a successful career in engineering. Christopher started as a project engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 1987 and later worked as a project engineer at Honeywell Inc., Space and Aviation Systems from 1990 to 1992. Christopher then joined DeWalt as a Senior Engineering Manager in 1992, where they stayed until 2012. During their time at DeWalt, Sanford also worked at Stanley Black & Decker as a Sr. Eng. Manager from 1992 until 2012 while still holding the same position at DeWalt. In 2012, they joined GE Aviation - Middle River Aircraft Systems, where they worked as the Leader of Engineering Operations, responsible for creating, implementing and tracking key department financial and performance metrics until 2019. In 2019, Christopher Sanford become Leader of Engineering Operations at ST Engineering, where they were a member of the senior engineering staff at Middle River Aircraft Systems and Technical Leader of the engineering operations group. Finally, Sanford joined AirBoss Defense Group in 2022 as their Chief Engineer.

Christopher Sanford obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, a five-year enrollment where they studied from 1982 to 1987. In 2008 to 2011, they attended the Florida Institute of Technology, where they earned an MBA in Operations Management.
