Declan Franks

Declan Franks is a skilled engineer with experience in aerospace, currently serving as the Lead Electrical Systems Installation Engineer at Airbus since September 2019. Previous roles at Airbus include Systems Installation Design Engineer and Graduate Structures Engineer. Prior to Airbus, Declan worked as an Undergraduate Engineer at McBraida Group, where projects were completed in June 2019 and again during summer breaks in May 2018 and September 2016, providing essential support in various engineering operations. Earlier experience includes a Design Engineer position at ETA-1, contributing to the development of a self-launching electric aircraft, and serving as a University Peer Assisted Learning leader while studying for a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of the West of England from 2014 to 2019.
