Dirk Spruenken

Dirk Spruenken has extensive experience in procurement and legal services, currently serving at Airbus since December 2007 with a focus on leading the Commodity Secure IT Systems and managing a diverse international team. Prior roles include Director of Procurement at Siemens, where responsibility encompassed all procurement activities for standard drives factories and strategic procurement of customized components, as well as establishing world-class purchasing structures. Dirk also practiced law as an Attorney at Law specializing in tax and family law from 1992 to 2000. Dirk holds a law degree from Ruhr University Bochum, completed in 1989.
