Armen Askijian

Chief Technology Officer at Airbus US Space & Defense

Armen Askijian has extensive work experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. Armen is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc., a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Engineering at the same company from March 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Airbus, Armen worked at OneWeb, starting in July 2014. At Lockheed Martin, Armen worked as a Staff Mechanical Engineer for Special Programs from February 2004 to January 2014.

Armen'scareer began at J&J Air, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer from June 2002 to February 2004.

Armen Askijian attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1998 to 2002, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they pursued further studies at Santa Clara University from 2004 to 2007, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering.
