Gillian O'Neill

Gillian O'Neill has extensive work experience in various roles within the aerospace industry. Gillian is currently working as a Business Controller II for Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc. since October 2022. Previously, they worked for Airbus Defense and Space, Inc. for a significant period, holding multiple roles including Space Systems and G&A Controller, ERM Manager from March 2017 to March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst II, Program Financial Management from January 2015 to February 2017, and as a Contracts Specialist from October 2014 to January 2015. Gillian also worked as a Proposal Specialist for various periods from January 2014 to December 2014 and as an Executive Assistant from July 2007 to June 2011. Their earlier experience includes working as a Program Coordinator at Airbus Defense and Space, Inc. from June 2006 to July 2007, an Administrative Assistant at EADS North America Defense from January 2005 to May 2006, and a Staff Assistant at the Office of Sen. Hollings from August 2002 to December 2004.

Gillian O'Neill completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs at the University of South Carolina, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Gillian then pursued a Master's of International Affairs from The George Washington University, specializing in Europe/Eurasia, between the years 2002 and 2004. In 2011, Gillian attended the Syracuse University - Maxwell School as a National Security Fellow, undertaking the National Security Management Course.
