Kieran O'Sullivan

Vice President Technical at Aircastle

Kieran O'Sullivan has a vast and diverse work experience. Kieran began their career as an Aircraft Technician with the Irish Air Corps in 1993, where they served for over 24 years before moving on. In 2015, they joined AAG, where they worked in Commercial Aircraft Heavy Maintenance until 2017. Following this, they briefly worked for Karman Aviation, undertaking Mid-Lease Physical and Record Inspections. In 2017, Kieran joined Santos Dumont as a Technical Records Analyst, and later as a Technical Project Manager. Kieran'smost recent role was with Aircastle, where they served as the Director Technical before being promoted to Vice President Technical in July 2023.

Kieran O'Sullivan's education history includes various professional courses and certifications. Kieran attended the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2023 to study Winning Negotiation Strategies and in 2021 for Leading for High Impact and Results. In 2020, they received a Certificate in CAMO Part M from SOFEMA. In 2017, they completed several aviation courses at Aertrain and obtained a Certificate in Technical Aircraft Management from the Institute of Technology, Carlow. Additionally, they have received training in topics such as Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, Electrical Wiring, and Safe Pass. In 2013, they underwent Emergency First Responder training at the Defence Force Medical Corps Training School. Kieran also received specialized maintenance training from GE Aviation Education Centre, Flight Safety Training Centre, Honeywell Aerospace Training Solutions, and Bombardier DFW Customer Training Centre. Kieran holds various certifications in specific aircraft models and equipment. Kieran'seducation history dates back to 1993 when they studied City and Guilds at Technological University Dublin. Kieran also completed the ECDL program at the Irish Air Corps Computer Centre in 1998.
