Eric Dahlgren

CEO/Co-Founder at Aircela Inc

Eric Dahlgren has had a diverse work experience, starting as President of Lundakarnevalen in 2005. Eric then worked as a Coordinator at The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences before pursuing a PhD at Columbia University. At Columbia, they worked as a TA for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and as an Instructor for the Environmental Science & Policy Master's Program and the Science Honors Program. In 2013, they worked as a Research Scientist at CET/Lambda Prime, and in 2015, they became Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Glassy Metals LLC. In 2016, they worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and in 2017, they became Vice President of Braidy Industries, where they played a significant role in developing sustainable aluminum alloys for the automotive industry. In 2020, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Aircela Inc.

Eric Dahlgren began their educational journey by earning a Master's degree in Mathematics from Lund University in 1999-2006. In 2000-2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they earned a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University. Eventually, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, where they studied until 2014.
