Caroline Tran

Caroline Tran has had a varied and successful career. In 2013, they began as a Sales Executive at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. In 2015, they moved to WPP as an Accountant, where they were responsible for monthly financial accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliation and journal posting. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of The Shaking Room, an accounting firm for startups and SMEs. In 2018, they moved to IPG Mediabrands as a Financial Accountant, where they were responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting, detailed analysis and review of revenue by client, and accurate and timely reporting of financial results. In 2020, they became a Guest Speaker at the University of Technology Sydney and The University of Adelaide College. Later in 2020, they were hired as a Commercial Manager at Wavemaker ANZ. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of Hello Clever, an ecosystem that empowers young Aussies to manage their money. Finally, in 2022, they were selected as a Leader of Tomorrow at the St. Gallen Symposium.

Caroline Tran completed a Certified Practising Accountant program at CPA Australia from 2017 to 2019, with a focus on Financial Reporting. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2014. Caroline has also obtained additional certifications, such as Guest Speaker from FinTech Nations in 2021, Women in Business from the NSW Department of Education in 2020, Consumer Data Rights from Financial Education Professionals in 2020, Launching Breakthrough Technologies from Harvard Business School Online in 2019, and Contract Law from Harvard Business School Online.
