Andrew Wordsworth

Andrew Wordsworth has extensive work experience in the sustainability and energy sectors. Andrew co-founded Sustainable Ventures in 2011 and served as the Managing Partner and CEO. Under their leadership, the company founded 8 companies, invested in over 30, and supported 300 more sustainable businesses. In 2016, they co-founded AirEx Technologies and currently serves as Chairman. In addition, Andrew has served as a Trustee for the National Energy Foundation since 2011.

Before these roles, Andrew co-founded E-Car Club Ltd in 2011, leading the development of an electric pay-per-use car club. The company successfully raised investments and was later acquired by Europcar Groupe SA, creating the UK's first exit for crowdfunding investors. Prior to that, Andrew was the Managing Director of Carbon Trust Enterprises, a subsidiary of Carbon Trust, where they spearheaded the organization's commercialization activities for carbon reducing businesses. Andrew began their career as a Consultant at Bain & Company, specializing in corporate strategy and technology incubation. Andrew also worked as a Consultant at Arthur D. Little and as a Process Engineer at Esso.

Andrew Wordsworth attended the University of Cambridge from 1990 to 1994. During this time, they pursued a M.Eng degree, focusing on Engineering in Part 1 and Chemical Engineering in Part 2.
