Rick Cheng has worked for a number of companies since 1990. Rick began their career at MIPS Computer Systems as a Member of Technical Staff. Rick then moved to Silicon Graphics Inc. in 1992, where they held the same role. In 2000, they joined Juniper Networks as a Staff Engineer and later became a Software Engineering Senior Manager. In 2015, they founded a startup that was later acquired. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fungible, Inc. Rick is currently employed at Airgap Networks Inc. as a Principal Engineer.
Rick Cheng obtained a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Engineering Physics from Pacific Lutheran University, and attended Pui Ching Middle School.
