Alireza Yaghoubi

Alireza Yaghoubi has been working in the field of technology and research since 2013. In that year, they co-founded AirGo Design, where they serve as Chief Technology Officer. Alireza is responsible for developing the design, hiring and leading the engineering team, working with suppliers and regulatory authorities, and serving as Head of Design Organization.

Also in 2013, Alireza was appointed Scientist at the University of Malaya. Alireza was hired after publishing a paper independently in Scientific Reports, and was part of the High Impact Research team. Alireza worked closely with professors from various departments, as well as researchers at other institutions. Alireza co-authored 12 Tier 1 papers in the field of high-performance ceramics, biomaterials, wide bandgap semiconductors and functional nanomaterials for harvest of renewable energy.

Alireza Yaghoubi obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Malaya between 2009 and 2013. Alireza then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering at the University of Malaya, which they completed in 2019. Alireza also attempted a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering at the National University of Singapore, but dropped out.
