David Chang

Director of Product and Program Management at AirHop Communications

David Chang began their work experience in 1995 at CommQuest Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 1999. David then moved on to Dot Wireless in 2000 and served as a Layer 1 Software Engineer until 2001. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Texas Instruments as the Director of Layer 1 Software Development, managing a team of 40 members. In 2007, Chang joined Shorthand Mobile as the Chief Architect and Development Manager, where they developed a client-server mobile communications platform that provided internet access to users in developing nations. David held this position until 2015 when they became the Director of Product and Program Management at AirHop Communications. At AirHop, they led the development and deployment of the eSON Self Organizing Network product into the Reliance JIO Indian LTE network.

David Chang completed their education at the University of Michigan, where they earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. This occurred between the years 1984 and 1990. Prior to attending the University of Michigan, they attended Okemos High School, although no specific dates or degrees are provided for this period.
