Sean Lynch

Product Manager at Airkit

Sean Lynch is a software engineer with extensive experience in product management, founding start-ups, and developing software for companies such as Airkit and SalesforceIQ. Sean is a Ph.D. graduate student in high energy physics from the University of Notre Dame and was responsible for developing analysis software and performing data analysis for the search of a neutral Higgs boson decaying into two tau leptons. At Airkit, they were a founding engineer and developed a low-code platform targeting web, voice menu systems, and SMS chatbots. Sean contributed to various features, including a chatbot state machine, a programming language mixing concepts from Excel and SQL, and a distributed state storage system. At SalesforceIQ, they led a team of engineers, prototyping an Electron based Salesforce Inbox desktop application, and was a founding member of their natural language processing product that later became part of Salesforce Einstein. Sean founded Gluino, a collaborative note-taking start-up, and is currently working as a product manager at Airkit.

Sean Lynch received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics from SUNY Geneseo in 2006. Then, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Notre Dame from 2006 to 2012.
