Nicole Truitt, BSRT-RRT, serves as a Flight Respiratory Therapist at AirMed International since June 2023. Previously, Nicole worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at UAB Medicine and gained experience as a Travel Respiratory Therapist with AMN Healthcare and Aureus Group. Nicole's early career includes a traineeship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Pediatric Pulmonary Care Center, which involved interdisciplinary courses, clinical experience at Children’s of Alabama, leadership projects, and community engagement. With a Master's degree in Public Health focusing on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care Therapy from the University of South Alabama, Nicole has developed a strong foundation in respiratory care and public health.
