Dawn Handlin is an experienced flight nurse and clinical lead with a diverse background in pediatric and neonatal transport. Currently serving as a Flight Nurse and Base Clinical Lead at AirMed International since November 2018, Dawn has also held the position of Pediatric Transport Nurse at University Hospital since July 2017. Prior roles include Flight Nurse at Air Evac Lifeteam and Summit Air Ambulance, as well as Chief Flight Nurse at Haiti Air Ambulance. Dawn's management experience encompasses the role of Transport Manager for Neonatal, Pediatric, and Maternal Teams at North Central Baptist Hospital. Academically, Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word, a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Springfield College, and an Associate of Science in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from The George Washington University.
