Maria Popovici-Muller

Maria Popovici-Muller is a Senior Research Associate at AIRNA since June 2025. Previously, Maria served as a Senior Research Associate in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) at Korro Bio, Inc. from June 2022 to May 2025, where responsibilities included supporting the first clinical candidate through various studies and leading DMPK efforts for a secondary program. Maria also held a position as a Research Associate in DMPK at Decibel Therapeutics from March 2021 to May 2022, conducting analyses in preclinical studies for investigational gene therapy. Early career experiences include an internship at FedEx and teamwork at Cobbetts Pond Pizzeria. Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May 2022.
