Mark Lanphear has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology and aviation industries.
From 2022 to the present, Lanphear serves as the Senior Vice President at AIRO, where they are responsible for building and operating a collision avoidance and communications network for military and civil drone markets.
Prior to their role at AIRO, Lanphear worked as the Chief Growth Officer at Sagetech Avionics, Inc. from 2021 to 2022. In this position, they were responsible for strategy, sales and business development, channel management, product management, and government/regulatory and policy affairs.
Lanphear also co-founded and advised SpaceSense Systems from 2018 to 2022, an industrial IoT solutions provider targeting various industry verticals for asset tracking, workplace optimization, and environmental monitoring.
As an independent contractor, Lanphear served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development at AURA Network Systems from 2021 to 2021.
From 2019 to 2021, Lanphear worked at GE Aviation as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Business Development, and Flight Operations.
Lanphear held the role of Vice President Americas and Worldwide USS Solutions at AirMap from 2018 to 2019, overseeing their operations and solutions in the Americas and worldwide.
Before that, Lanphear served as the Managing Director of Industrial IoT Solutions at Bluvision, a part of HID Global, from 2016 to 2018. Mark was responsible for solution development, pricing, marketing, channel management, business development, and sales within the industrial IoT, machine condition monitoring, and cold chain industries.
Lanphear's experience also includes roles at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. as the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development from 2013 to 2016, and at VOCEL, Inc. as the Vice President of Global Sales from 2007 to 2009.
Mark began their career at Openwave as an Account Director from 2005 to 2007.
Throughout their career, Lanphear has demonstrated expertise in strategic account management, business development, sales process improvement, and team building.
Mark Lanphear holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Marketing and Sales from California State University, Northridge. Mark has also undergone sales training from Dale Carnegie & Miller Heiman Sales Training. Additionally, they have received Power User Training in Salesforce.com and LinkedIn.
