John Stewart

John Stewart is currently the Chairman at Airport Handling S.P.A. Prior to this, they served as the International Tax Director at Crowe Horwath International from November 2010 to October 2014. In this role, they were responsible for setting and implementing growth strategy, introducing and supervising quality control, and ongoing monitoring of members firms tax practice. John also reviewed new member firms.

Before Crowe Horwath International, John Stewart was with Airport Handling S.p.A. From February 2002 to January 2013, they were the Managing Partner of an outsourcing business made-up of 650 people and two operating companies providing accounting and administration, human resource management and payroll, tax and legal compliance, company secretarial, financial and management reporting, and tax, legal and labour law consulting services. John was also a member of the supervisory board of auditors of Rolex Italia, Ikea Italia, SGI Group, Herambiente, Ametek, Helvoet Pharma, Ocè Italia; Barclays Infrastructure Fund, and others.

From January 1993 to December 2002, John Stewart served as the Managing Partner at Ernst & Young.

John Stewart completed their A levels in Maths and Theirtory at Kings Norton Grammar school. John then went on to study for a degree in Economics at the University of Birmingham.
