Managing Director, Environmental Affairs at Airports Council International - North America

Melinda Pagliarello has a diverse work experience in various roles related to environmental affairs and consulting. Melinda currently holds the position of Managing Director, Environmental Affairs at the Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA) since January 2022. In this role, Melinda utilizes their background and interdisciplinary knowledge to drive environmental and sustainability initiatives at airports. Their responsibilities include overseeing environmental and sustainability efforts, coordinating ACI-NA's work on PFAS and airports, addressing airport noise, land use policies, air and water quality, and regulations affecting airports.

Prior to their current role, Melinda served as the Senior Director of Environmental Affairs at ACI-NA from July 2018 to January 2022, and as the Director of Environmental Affairs from January 2017 to July 2018. Before joining ACI-NA, Melinda worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate from September 2015 to January 2017. Melinda also worked at LeighFisher as a Principal Consultant from April 2007 to August 2015, at Jacobs Consultancy as a Senior Consultant from April 2007 to July 2010, at PBS&J as a Senior Consultant from October 2004 to April 2007, and at Landrum & Brown as an Analyst from March 2003 to October 2004. Early in their career, Melinda gained experience at Wandfluh of America as a Technical Communications professional from October 1996 to May 2001.

Melinda Pagliarello completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Russian Studies at Williams College from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics at George Mason University - School of Public Policy from 2010 to 2012.
