Philippe Villard's work experience includes various roles in the aviation and policy sectors. In 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Advisor at L'Organisation de l'aviation civile internationale, focusing on airport and air navigation services economics. In 2013, they became the Manager of Industry Charges at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In 2017, Villard joined Airports Council International - ACI World, initially as the Head of Policy & Economics and later as the Senior Director of Policy & Economics until 2022. Currently, they are the Vice President of Economic Policy at Airports Council International - North America.
Philippe Villard's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled in Hypokhâgne/Khâgne BL at Lycée Daudet in Nîmes. Philippe pursued a double major in Liberal Arts during this time. In 2005, they attended Université de Montréal and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Simultaneously, they also studied Sociology at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès and received a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, Philippe Villard completed their Master's degree in Public Policy at Sciences Po. Philippe continued their academic journey at Concordia University from 2009 to 2014, specializing in Political Science and earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
