Ryan Stefanelli has had a diverse range of work experiences in the gaming industry. Ryan started their career in 2003 at Realm Interactive, where they were involved in mission creation, dungeon layout and design, and asset creation/implementation. In 2004, they moved on to NCSoft as a Game/Level Designer. Ryan then spent a significant portion of their career at Vigil Games, starting in 2005, where they held the roles of Feature Team Lead and Principal Designer. Ryan was responsible for leading a team in handling world art, gameplay content, level design, and related assets. Ryan also played a key role in designing and prototyping the world/dungeons for the first two DLC packs for Darksiders 2. In 2013, Ryan joined Crytek as a Principal Designer and then moved to Airship Syndicate in 2014, where they currently serve as President.

Ryan Stefanelli received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institutes between 2001 and 2003.
