Darrin Austin

Darrin Austin is an accomplished sales executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at Airspan Networks since April 2025, Darrin leads the North American In-Building Sales Team and develops strategies to drive growth. Darrin has also been an Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University since August 2006, teaching courses in wireless communications. Prior to Airspan, Darrin held multiple leadership roles at Corning Incorporated, including Vice President of Commercial, Wireless CRO, and Vice President of Sales, where responsibilities included driving revenue and developing business relationships for in-building wireless opportunities. Darrin’s career also includes significant positions at Nokia and Verizon, focusing on sales of wireless products and services, along with business development for key accounts. Darrin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from SUNY Geneseo, a Telecommunications Engineering certificate from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and completed the Harvard Manage Mentor Leadership Program.
