Simon Scruton

Simon Scruton is an experienced Maintenance Control Engineer currently employed at AirTanker since October 2013. Prior experience includes roles as a B2 licensed engineer at SR Technics Group, where responsibilities involved routine line maintenance and defect rectification for easyJet A319 and A320 aircraft, as well as Norwegian B737-800, and as a Maintrol Engineer at Thomas Cook. At Thomas Cook, Simon oversaw fleet maintenance for various aircraft types, ensuring timely rectification of issues and efficient handling of AOG situations globally. Prior to this, Simon served as a Senior Aircraft Engineer in avionics at FLS Aerospace, focusing on major modifications and routine maintenance for multiple aircraft types. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in aircraft engineering from Kingston University and has a background in aviation education from CSE Aviation Oxford.
