Monica Kambo

Monica Kambo has a significant background in human resources and management. Monica currently holds the position of Group - Human Resources Director at Airtel Africa since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Human Resources Director at WPP- Scangroup from September 2015 to March 2020. Additionally, Monica has experience as the Managing Director at Wavemaker from November 2014 to October 2015, and as the General Manager - Africa at Ogilvy from December 2010 to November 2014. Monica'scareer began at McCann Worldgroup, where they served as the General Manager from August 2005 to November 2010.

Monica Kambo obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Human Resource Management from the University of Liverpool from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they completed an Advanced Leadership program with a focus on Africa at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). In 2017, Monica attended the ALU-Deans Executive Forum at INSEAD, specializing in Business/Commerce. Additionally, they have a certification in MCIM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom.
