Akeem Salami

Akeem Salami is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial management and business intelligence. Currently serving as the Financial Controller at Airtel Nigeria since October 2023, Akeem previously held the position of Head of Projects Pricing and Business Intelligence at MainOne from October 2019 to October 2023. Akeem's career at Airtel Nigeria began in June 2011, where responsibilities included Head of Financial Reporting, Senior Manager of General Ledger & Revenue Accounting, Manager of General Ledger Accounting, and Manager of Business Planning & Reporting. Akeem holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Lagos, obtained in 2011, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, completed in 2004.
