Oguzcan Koncagul

Oguzcan Koncagul has worked in a variety of roles in the data engineering field since 2016. In 2021, they began working as Lead Data Engineer and Data Architect at Airtime Rewards. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Engineer and Data Support Engineer at Moneysupermarket Group from 2019 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they held a Finance Internship at Amplify Trading, where they received training in portfolio management, asset management, and investment banking, and experienced live market trading, hedge fund management, and market making within buy-side/sell-side trader roles in simulated environments. Additionally, they performed impact analysis of macroeconomic events on market performance. From 2016 to 2018, they held a Research Internship at The University of Manchester, where they worked with an academic researcher to understand the behaviour of neural networks for AI applications, and developed neural networks from scratch using low-level programming languages.

Oguzcan Koncagul has a comprehensive education history. Oguzcan obtained their High School degree from North Cestrian Grammar School in 2012. Following this, they completed their A Levels at Sale Grammar School in 2014. Oguzcan then went on to obtain a BEng in Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester in 2017. Finally, they obtained an MSc in Advanced Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester in 2018. In addition, they have obtained a GCP Certified Professional Data Engineer from Google in November 2020.
