Steven Bernd

Steven Bernd has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Handyman at Rincon Recycling. In 2011, they worked as an Administrative Assistant Intern at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging. In 2012, they worked as an RF Design Engineer at Tempest Telecom Solutions. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Leaf Communication Consulting as an RF Design Manager for the NorCal Market. During this time, they were responsible for design work that saw Leaf Communication Consulting named one of Orange County's three fastest-growing companies for three straight years. Steven also recruited and led the DAS design team and produced instruction manuals and guidelines to improve design practices. In 2018, they worked as an RF Engineer II at Connectivity Wireless and was awarded the Connector Award 2019 Q2 for going above and beyond in the previous quarter. Steven also designed pilot projects for both CBRS and 5G and produced tools that cut the time needed for initial designs in half. In 2019, they worked as a Manager of Engineering and Operations at Quantum Wireless and as Co-Founder/Mitigation Specialist at Southern Mitigation. At Quantum Wireless, they were responsible for all engineering services, while at Southern Mitigation they specialized in death penalty mitigation. In 2022, they began working as a Radio Frequency Design Engineer at Airwavz Solutions, Inc.

Steven Bernd obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Earth and Environmental Sciences from UC Irvine between 2010 and 2014. During 2012 and 2013, they studied Spanish Language at Universitat de Barcelona. Steven also holds several certifications, including ADX/SDR/PSR Certified from ADRF (Advanced RF Technologies, Inc.) obtained in December 2022, General Radiotelephone Operator's License (GROL) from the Federal Communications Commission obtained in December 2015, CBRS Certified Professional Installer (CPI) from CommScope obtained in November 2020, iBwave Wi-Fi Certification from iBwave Solutions Inc. obtained in August 2020, iBwave Level 2 from iBwave Solutions Inc. obtained in April 2020, and Quatra 1000/2000/4000 Certification from Cel-Fi by Nextivity.
