Lucy Taylor

Lucy Taylor is an accomplished Air Traffic Controller with extensive experience at Airways New Zealand since February 2010, where roles have included Air Traffic Controller in the Bay Sector, Head of Standards & Performance, and Team Leader for approach services. Lucy has held significant leadership positions, driving operational policy, performance, workforce planning, and training to enhance air traffic services. Prior experience includes serving as a Flight Lieutenant and Air Traffic Control Officer in the Royal Air Force, along with representation in the CANSO APAC Safety Workgroup. Academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Ergonomics and Organisational Behaviour from the University of Derby and a First Class BSc Honours in Biology from the University of Bristol, among other qualifications.
