Sayem Faruk

Sayem Faruk has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sayem is currently the Founder & CEO of Airwrk, a company focused on connecting startups with tech talents and remote job opportunities. Prior to this, Sayem was the Co-founder & Ex-COO of Alpha Bangladesh, where they built a successful catering brand and achieved profitability. Sayem also worked as an English Instructor at Mentors' from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Sayem worked as an Independent Consultant at Ice9 Interactive, where they provided consulting services for Smashboard, a local social media management software, and contributed to competitor analysis, pricing analysis, and UX improvement recommendations.

Sayem Faruk has a diverse education history. Sayem pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, starting in 2012 and completing it in 2015. Prior to that, they attended the British Bangladesh International School and College in Sylhet from 1997 to 2010, where they obtained their GCE O and A Levels in various subjects including Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, English, and Bengali.

In addition to their formal education, Sayem Faruk has also obtained two certifications. One is the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, acquired in July 2022. The second certification is the Certified Supply Chain Analyst from ISCEA - International Supply Chain Education Alliance, although the specific details regarding the month and year of its completion are unavailable.
