Shawn Thornsbury

Shawn Thornsbury is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security management. Currently serving as Lead Security Engineer at Applied Information Sciences since August 2021, Shawn previously held the position of Information Systems Security Manager at ProActive Technologies, LLC from December 2019 to August 2021. Prior to that, Shawn worked as an IT Security Specialist and Information System Security Manager at Lockheed Martin from September 2007 to December 2019. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Information Technology Helpdesk at InnoSource and as an Information Technology Specialist in the US Navy from May 1999 to January 2007. Shawn holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Wayland Baptist University.
