AITHO
Giacomo Romano has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and a Junior Agile Team Leader at AITHO starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Full-stack Developer at AITHO from September 2019 to February 2023. During their time at AITHO, they developed front-end services and worked with technologies such as React and Typescript. Giacomo also worked as a Team Leader and developer for various projects at Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, where they utilized technologies such as Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JUnit, Oracle PL/SQL, and shell scripting. Before AITHO, Giacomo Romano worked as a marketing intern at pianetaitalia.com in June and July 2013.
Giacomo Romano's education history begins in 2010 when they attended I.I.S. Cucuzza - Euclide and obtained a Diploma Istituto Tecnico e Professionale in Informatica. Giacomo studied there until 2015. After that, they attended Università di Catania from 2015 to 2024, where they pursued a Laurea triennale in Scienze e Tecnologie Informatiche with a focus on Matematica e informatica.
In addition to their formal education, Giacomo Romano also obtained several certifications. In May 2013, they received the E.C.D.L Patente europea certification from ICDL Europe. In December 2020, they completed the Corso formazione Docker from AITHO. Most recently, in December 2021, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
