Torsten Scholl

CEO; Co-Founder at Aitonomi TeleRetail: Automation & Electrification

Torsten Scholl has a long and varied work experience. Torsten began their career in 1992 as an intern at KUSA-TV, 9NEWS. Torsten then worked as a Vehicle Consultant and Demo Driver at McDonald Automotive. In 1993, they founded and became CEO of Deutsche Telekom, a privately held international long distance voice and data carrier in Germany. In 1999, they founded innovation and served as CEO. Torsten also worked as an Investor and Self Directed Investments (SDI) at J.P. Morgan, managing their own investment portfolio. From 2007 to 2014, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of omniwatt, an international renewable energy company. During this same period, they were also the CEO and Co-Founder of both Aitonomi AG (TeleRetail) and TeleRetail GmbH, both of which automate, electrify industrial, urban and rural outdoor logistics. Torsten'saward-winning AutoPilot System and Software "Aito" reduce the cost of transport by up to 90%.

Torsten Scholl obtained their MBA from IMD in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics with Business Studies from the University of Warwick in 1992. Before that, they studied Physics and Mathematics at Heidelberg University from 1987 to 1990. In addition, they obtained a Skipper's license from the Hanseatische Yachtschule Glücksburg in May 2004.
