Denis Shtefan

Denis Shtefan has had a varied career in the technology industry. In 2016, they were the CTO of Aiva Technologies, where they designed and developed AIVA, the Artificial Intelligence that composes music for films, commercials, video games and trailers. That same year, they also worked as a Research Intern at UCL, where they spearhead a research project under the supervision of the Communication and Information Systems Group. In 2015, they were a Research Intern at the London Centre for Nanotechnology, where they were responsible for designing, programming and submitting for fabrication a vector magnet system to be used by the team in various experiments on quantum devices.

Denis Shtefan completed an Engineer's Degree in MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology from UCL between 2013 and 2017.
