Karan Ahuja

Karan Ahuja is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO at AiVANTA since October 2023, Karan also plays a pivotal role as an investor in CluePlay, a platform leveraging machine learning for content recommendations since January 2020. Karan's previous roles include Vice President and Head of Video and New Media at Hindustan Times, and Director of Content Strategy and Partnerships at MX Player. Other notable positions include AVP and Head of Innovation and New Business at Shemaroo Entertainment, Head of Online Initiatives at PVR Pictures, Co-Founder and CEO of VKAAO, and Co-Founder and India Head of ZENeSYS Consulting. Karan’s foundational career also includes strategic roles at Reliance Industries Limited and Cairn Energy PLC. Karan holds a PGPM in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and has completed an exchange program in Management at SDA Bocconi. Karan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
