Irene Hagström has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Screen Designer and Team Leader for dooyoo AG. In 2001, they moved to Triple-O Microscopy GmbH, where they worked as a Webmaster and Graphical Designer. In 2004, they began working for Standards Australia as a Senior Business Analyst, and in 2008 they founded and became Lead Designer for Honeyants Pty Ltd. In 2015, they worked for both Microsoft as a Devices and Services employee, and for LKzwo GmbH as a Requirements Engineer and Team Assistant. In 2020, they began working for Aiven as a UX Designer and Office Manager, where they managed office procurement, bookkeeping, settling service agreements, handling communication with local authorities, office relocation, onboarding/offboarding, IT procurement and asset management, and negotiated and established local employee benefits.
Irene Hagström received their Master degree in Interactive Multimedia from the University of Technology Sydney in 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Product Development Engineering from the University of Skövde in 1999. In 1999, they also attended Griffith University for an Intermedia/Multimedia course. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications: Product Led Growth Certificate Programm from ProductLed in 2022, Journey Mapping: Case Study in Action from LinkedIn in 2021, Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level Course from SOPHIST GmbH in 2012, and Mastering the Requirements Process from Software Education, Sydney Australia in 2008.
