Sébastien Blanc

Sébastien Blanc has been working in the software engineering industry since 2004. Sébastien began their career as a Trainee at Polygones in 2004 and then moved to AEGON as a Software Engineer in 2005. In 2008, they were employed as a JEE Architect at Delta Lloyd and a SWT/Eclipse RCP engineer at Truston. In 2011, they joined Amadeus as a Software Engineer, where they developed server-side Java frameworks and solutions for supporting millions of transactions per day. In 2012, they moved to Red Hat as the Director of Developer Experience EMEA and Principal Software Engineer. Most recently, they joined Aiven as a Staff Developer Advocate in 2022.

Sébastien Blanc attended Aix-Marseille University from 1998 to 2002, during which time they obtained a Master's degree in management, control, and strategy, as well as a separate Master's degree in controlling and managing. Sébastien then attended IAAI from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Engineer/Master's degree in computer science.
