Soumya Bijjal

Soumya Bijjal has over 17 years of experience in a variety of roles. Soumya began their career in 2003 as a Technical Support Engineer at HP. Soumya then moved to Wipro Technologies in 2004 as a Software Test Engineer. In 2007, they joined Nokia Mobile Phones as a MeeGo SDK Tools Project Coach and held various roles, such as Technical Product Owner and Software Integrator. In 2012, they moved to Jolla as a Software Program Manager. In 2016, they joined Nordea as a Program Project Manager. In 2018, they moved to SSH Communications Security as a Director of Product Management and Senior Program Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Aiven as Chief of Staff to CPO and Senior Director of Product Management.

Soumya Bijjal obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University from 1999 to 2003. Since then, they have obtained certifications from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) including Focus, Foundations, and PMC Level III in May 2019. Soumya is currently working on obtaining the Build certification.
