Yvan Ikhlef is an accomplished architect and researcher with extensive experience in various cultural and academic settings. Currently, Yvan leads research at Mistra, Stiftelsen för miljöstrategisk forskning, focusing on "The Language of the Becoming City," a project examining urban transformation processes funded by the Swedish Research Council. Yvan has also been an architect at AIX since 2000, with responsibilities in design and a specific research interest in establishing a Desert Index to analyze human density needs. Prior roles include culture project leader for photography exhibitions in Dakar, assistant teacher in architecture at KTH, and architect positions at several architectural firms. Yvan holds a degree in Architecture from Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris La Villette and has undertaken post-graduate studies in architecture at Kungl. Konsthögskolan.

AIX Architects is an architectural bureau with extensive knowledge and experience. Our company has a solid framework, which embraces knowledge-sharing and efficient resource management. We have a staff of 100 people, most of whom are architects, but there are also interior designers, engineers, planning architects, antiquarians, theater consultants and lighting designers. We focus on three main areas: city planning, new construction and renovation / restoration.
