Ilio Miccoli

Ilio Miccoli is a Lab Application Expert for GaAs and Process Engineer specializing in MOVPE processes for III-V semiconductor materials at AIXTRON SE since February 2017, focusing on the hetero-epitaxial growth of As- and P-based alloys for LED and laser applications. Prior to this role, Ilio served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Leibniz Universität Hannover from January 2014 to January 2017, conducting investigations into the structural, electronic, and transport properties of one-dimensional metallic and semiconductor nanowires. Additionally, Ilio worked as a Process Engineer in the R&D division of ALFA IMPIANTI SRL from September 2012 to December 2013. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials and Structures Engineering from Università del Salento, a Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Bari.
