John Malek

John Malek has worked as a Field Services Engineer at AIXTRON SE since February 2019. In this role, they have gained experience in operation and troubleshooting of Alan-Bradley and Beckhoff PLC systems used in CVD Systems. John also has knowledge in operation, function, and troubleshooting of Device Net based control systems used in CVD and Robotic Wafer Handling. Furthermore, they have an understanding of Ethernet networking as used in GUI communication with PLC and Device Net control systems. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Test Technician at Genus Inc. from October 1983 to June 2002.

John Malek attended Mission College from 1996 to 1997, during which they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1985, they attended San Jose City College, where they also did not complete a degree or focus on any particular field of study.
