Samiul Hasan

Samiul Hasan, Ph.D., currently serves as a Product Manager at AIXTRON SE since July 2023, following a tenure as a Design Engineer at ASML, where the focus was on wafer alignment. Prior experience includes a Ph.D. research role at imec, dedicated to advancing III-V Quantum Dots for silicon photonics lasers, with significant contributions presented at international conferences. Samiul Hasan also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven, guiding nanotechnology graduate students, and held multiple positions at Microworks - Precision Structures, developing X-ray imaging systems. Earlier experience includes research assistant roles at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, along with a performance engineering position at Banglalink, focused on network evaluation and performance reporting. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctorate in Physics from KU Leuven, a Master’s in Optics and Photonics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Islamic University of Technology, complemented by a Business Foundation Certificate from INSEAD.
