Chief Platform Architect at Aizon

Christian González Di Antonio has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christian currently holds the position of Chief Platform Architect at Aizon since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of DevOps at Alea from July 2019 to December 2020.

Christian's earlier experience includes working as IT Manager at SIGIS from June 2007 to December 2014. During their tenure, they played a key role in implementing a Cloud Computing infrastructure using OpenStack. Christian also founded and led the "RFID" and "R&D in Big Data" areas.

Before their time at SIGIS, Christian served as a System Network Administrator from January 2004 to June 2007. Christian spearheaded the migration of internal services to open and free code platforms and implemented source versioning systems.

Christian began their career at SIGIS as a System Analyst from January 2000 to January 2004, where they designed and developed the administrative module for the Traffic Monitoring Platform (AVL) Geotracker. Christian also implemented Mapserver as an alternative to Autodesk MapGuide.

Christian's earliest role was as a Photogrammetry Operator at SIGIS from May 1997 to January 2000. Christian was responsible for digital mapping generation, ground control points, and various other tasks related to digital orthophoto generation.

Christian González Di Antonio completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Tecana American University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Universidad Central de Venezuela, completing their studies from 1994 to 2004. Christian González Di Antonio also obtained several certifications, including R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in September 2014, as well as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) in July 2019 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
