Meghan L. Marre

Meghan L. Marre, PhD, ELS, is a seasoned academic editor with extensive experience in immunology and biomedical research. Currently serving as a Senior Academic Editor at AJE since January 2022, Meghan previously held multiple editorial roles at Research Square Company and gained academic experience as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh. A Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2018, Meghan led research on type 1 diabetes and authored multiple publications while securing funding from notable institutions. Meghan's academic journey includes a PhD in Immunology from Tufts University, where independent research on the immune response to Lyme disease was conducted. Additionally, Meghan has engaged in public policy advocacy for biomedical research as a Fellow at the American Association of Immunologists.
