Stefanie Marquez-Vilendrer

Stefanie Marquez-Vilendrer, PhD, has extensive experience in research and editorial roles within scientific and academic communities. Currently serving as Scientist II in Research and Development at AxoGen, Inc. since September 2015, Stefanie also holds the positions of Senior Editor and Preferred Translation Editor with AJE - American Journal Experts. Prior roles include Academic Editor at Enago, Contract Technical Writer at Vium, and Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida, where research focused on the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex's role in cancer. Additional experience includes graduate research assistantship and teaching roles at the University of Southern California, along with a consultant position for Yahoo. Stefanie holds a PhD in Pathobiology and has degrees in Experimental and Molecular Pathology (MS) and Biological Sciences with History (BA) from the University of Southern California.
